Album No. 14. This album is for the modern dance class.
The pieces are regularly phrased so that it is very suitable for European but also e.g. Limón-, Graham- and Cunnigham lessons.
Limón-, Graham- and Cunnigham-classes can also be made on this album.
Most of the pieces are (on request) a bit longer, so that they can be danced on.
There are many different time signatures on this album, both dynamic and with breath.
The titles on this album tell more about the music than about the etudes.
The titles are not always to be taken too literally. For example, the PASSACAGLIA is not a real passacaglia.
REMOVAL was made on the occasion of my early retirement from the SKVR in Rotterdam and is,
in contrast to the other tracks, with different instruments.
Hopefully this album will be another valuable addition to your collection.
The music on album no. 7 has a slightly "jazzy" character and is not only played with piano.
For the classical class, this gives it a "playful" character and sometimes an extra impulse.
The album is therefore very versatile.
The indications have been kept in classical terms and should therefore be "translated" for the other disciplines.
